Wyndham to introduce hotel brand TRYP to Corfu


PALLI SA, a Greek hotel company, recently signed a new agreement with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts develop a new TRYP by Wyndham hotel on the island of Corfu in Greece.

TRYP by Wyndham is a unique, urban and lifestyle boutique brand. The hotels in the TRYP By Wyndham portfolio embody the local flavor, rhythm and rhythm of the cities in which they are located, offering guests a personal retreat amidst an incredible cosmopolitan experience.

Scheduled to open April 2022, opening soon TRYP by Wyndham Corfu Dassia will follow the conversion and rebranding of the award-winning company Corfu Palma Boutique Hotel, located 12 km northeast of the island’s main town and Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport.

“TRYP by Wyndham Corfu Dassia will provide all the amenities our guests have come to expect along with the special touches that make our hospitality and genuine service stand out from the crowd,” said Yota Palli CEO of PALLI SA, company that owns the Corfu Palma Boutique hotel.

Once renovated, the hotel will feature a collection of 48 contemporary rooms and an elegant design, which will combine elements of traditional and historic Greek architecture with modern interiors and facilities.

The new property will also have beautiful gardens with several historic trees, including a 14th century olive tree, luminous prickly pears and even a sundial.

“We are delighted to work with PALLI SA and further expand the range of accommodation options in Greece, a key market for our growth strategy in Europe”, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Vice President Development for Europe Christian Michel said, adding that Corfu is a world famous destination with a lot to offer travelers.

On his side, Spyros Ioannidis, the general manager of the hotel, pointed out that Corfu has a rich and diverse natural landscape, including more than two million olive trees, countless tourist and historical sites and more than 200 km of magnificent coastline, all accessible via a well-developed road network.

“This makes Corfu one of Greece’s most exciting destinations and we are delighted to welcome our guests to our hotel as part of the Wyndham family,” said Ioannidis.
