A leader in brand valuation consulting, Brand Finance has released its annual “Hotel 50 2022” report. It rates the world’s most valuable and robust hotel brands based on key factors such as marketing investment, guest knowledge, staff satisfaction and corporate reputation.

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)’s famous hotel brand Taj tops the list of the most powerful hotel brands across the globe, according to the report. It is followed by Premier Inn, Hilton Hotels and Resorts and Hampton by Hilton, among others.

Taj wins the title for the second consecutive year

The Taj Group has been rated for many achievements, including deploying successful strategies to survive the pandemic. According to IHCL, its Managing Director and CEO, Puneet Chhatwal, said, “We are very proud that Taj has been recognized as the world’s strongest hotel brand for the second consecutive time. This reaffirms Taj as the most acclaimed benchmark of excellence in the industry globally.

He added, “With travelers increasingly turning to brands that not only embody the essence of world-class luxury, but also follow responsible business practices, Taj is well positioned to lead the future of hospitality. .

According to the Brand Finance Report, Taj earned a Brand Strength Index (BSI) of 88.9 out of 100, along with a corresponding AAA Brand Strength Rating. He was recognized for “customer knowledge, employee satisfaction and company reputation, as well as world-class customer service.”

The report also highlights how the company has remained strong during the pandemic and weathered the challenges, while diligently responding to the needs of its consumers. Taj has also been recognized for his participation in the health sector.

The brand received 38th place in 2016, when Taj debuted in the Hotel 50 rankings list.
