The Venice Film Festival adds the LVMH Thélios brand as a sponsor – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: The eyewear brand LVMH Thélios becomes official sponsor of the Venice Film Festival and will set up shop at the Hotel Excelsior during the event.

La Biennale has signed a three-year pact with the luxury brand, which will make the company the official eyewear partner of the festival.

According to the partners, the collaboration will include the Thélios Suite, located at the Excelsior Hotel, which will include an exhibition hall and an event space for press junkets for certain films as well as “other press events and industry”.

The Venice Film Festival will unveil the lineup for its 79th edition on Tuesday July 26.

“The Venice International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious events in the world and we are proud to support La Biennale di Venezia, which is a powerful ambassador of Italian culture on a global level”, said Alessandro Zanardo, CEO of Thelios. “Cinema and eyewear have always gone hand in hand, through aesthetics and a passion for detail, giving people a vision of the world. In the history of cinema, glasses have helped to create iconic characters in cinema and define their personality: we couldn’t imagine a better field of expression than this festival, so close to our roots in Veneto.

The company Manifattura is based in Longarone in Veneto.
