YORK, PA — One of downtown York’s most iconic restaurants is up for sale.

The Left Bank Restaurant & Baran award-winning casual dining establishment that has been part of the regional dining scene for more than 30 years, is on the market and seeking new owners, according to ROCK Commercial Real Estate.

The asking price of $395,000 includes the business, furnishings, fixtures, equipment and beverage management for the use of the H liquor license (hotel), as well as all intellectual property, marketing assets , revenue and traffic.

“As I plan to move out of the market, the announcement is bittersweet,” said restaurant owner Sean Arnold. “We are very proud of what we have built in York since we took ownership five years ago, achieving many regional and national awards for our menu, cocktails, wine selection and service. Our established catering team have consistently delivered a five-star dining experience and are excited for what the future holds under new ownership.”

Located at 120 North George Street, Left Bank Restaurant & Bar was this year’s winner of the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, which has also received accolades in Susquehanna Style (2017 to 2021), Best of York Fine Dining and Cocktails (2017 to 2020), and Open Table (Diner’s Choice Award, 2018 to 2019).
