Radisson Hotel Group opens its first hotel in Albania

The Radisson Collection Morina Hotel, Tirana brings the Radisson hospitality experience to Albania for the first time.

Luxury lifestyle brand Radisson Collection now offers a luxurious stay in the country’s capital as the first international luxury hotel chain to open in Tirana.

Entry into Albania

The newly built Radisson Collection Morina Hotel, Tirana now welcomes guests just outside the city center of the Albanian capital and next to the Grand Park of Tirana in Sauk.

This hotel featuring bespoke neoclassical design elements by Italian architects Cross Design is part of a new development on Dry Lake.

During their stay, guests can discover the city named European Youth Capital for 2022, also known for its privileged location overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the Mediterranean climate and the museums, as well as for its streets and squares lined with colorful buildings.

“Tirana is the next exciting new destination in Eastern Europe and has recently grown in popularity thanks to its grand boulevards lined with fascinating remnants of its Ottoman, Italian and Communist past,” said Loreta Xhebraj, General Manager of the hotel. .

A luxurious hospitality experience

The hotel has 49 rooms and suites spread over eight floors. The luxurious interiors of this property combine calming tones of white, ivory and brown with Italian-made furniture and decorative references to the neoclassical style. All rooms have a balcony overlooking Dry Lake.

The property’s most luxurious accommodation is the One-Bedroom Presidential Suite with a large living room, walk-in closet, and bespoke furnishings.

During their stay, guests can dine at the all-day restaurant with lake views and serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes as well as traditional Albanian specialties. The first floor bar then offers light snacks as well as drinks, with the rooftop lounge bar offering coffee during the day and drinks with snacks each evening.

Additional hotel amenities include two swimming pools, an outdoor poolside bar, a full-service spa, and a hair and nail salon. Spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, salt room and jacuzzi. Events will be held in a meeting room that can accommodate up to 100 people.
