Olympia offers 14-story hotel next to Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena

A new 14-story hotel is proposed for development in the growing area of ​​the District of Detroit, right next to Little Caesars Arena.

Ilitch Holdings and Olympia Development submitted plans to build a 14-story, 290-room hotel, which would include street-level retail space just off the arena on Woodward Avenue.

FedEx to close stores and postpone hiring as demand slumps

FedEx said Thursday it was closing storefronts and corporate offices while postponing new hires in a belt-tightening drive prompted by a decline in its global package delivery business.
