New Executive Housekeeper Joins Kempinski Hotel Muscat


The Kempinski Hotel Muscat is proud to welcome and announce the appointment of Claudia Arnhardt as the property’s new Executive Housekeeper. In her new role, she will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the five-star standards of European luxury for which Kempinski hotels are known worldwide.

Claudia joins the Kempinski Hotel Muscat team from Hotel Bareiss (recognized by the prestigious Falstaff Hotel Guide 2022 as one of the ten best hotels in Germany, awarded three Michelin stars for the Bareiss restaurant and the second in the category gourmet according to Connoisseur Circle), where she served as Executive Housekeeper from 2020 to present. She has extensive knowledge of the housekeeping department and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in some of the largest hotel chains in the world.

The General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Muscat, Mr. Carsten Wiegandt, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Claudia and the latest addition to our management team at the hotel. I am sure she will share her wealth of experience and expertise with the team, having led the housekeeping department for over 20 years in major international hotels. She is not new to the region and understands Omani culture very well and will continue to promise to showcase Kempinski’s fine performances in her region.

In her years of experience, Claudia has overseen guest rooms, public areas and pool, back of house and external dining venues at some of the most prominent hotels, such as Hilton, Sheraton, Movenpick and the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee in Germany, Norway, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, China, Jordan, Sudan and Lebanon. She knows the local culture very well having been part of the team for the reopening of the Sheraton Oman hotel in 2016 as the housekeeping manager.

Claudia is of German nationality and has received important awards and accolades, such as the Development Program for Executive Housekeepers, Performance Management and many more.
