Muntaser Allaf has been appointed General Manager of the recently opened Jeddah Marriott Hotel Madinah Road in Saudi Arabia. The highly respected hospitality professional will lead the team with over 26 years of experience in hotel operations, including strategic planning and leadership.
Muntaser began his career at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in 1996, before spending more than two decades progressing with a number of Marriott brands. His dynamic career path took him from North America to the Middle East, where he enriched his skills through four openings in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
With a multi-brand experience, as well as pre-opening and ownership acquisition, Muntaser was the perfect choice for such a dynamic gateway to the two holy cities of the Kingdom, Mecca and Medina. He will begin by hiring in key roles, building dynamic teams for the upscale Red Sea hotel property.

Muntaser earned his BASc. in Hotel Administration Management from the New York Institute of Technology. In his free time, he prefers to spend time cooking and trying new recipes. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new countries with his family.
The opening and the arrival of the new general manager coincided ahead of the hotel’s Ramadan celebrations. Inspired by the traditional atmosphere and heritage of Jeddah, the establishment has set up a welcoming Ramadan tent, offering free Saudi coffee. You can also enjoy the restaurant throughout the evening.
Customers will enjoy the Hejazi nights which will be presented during the Suhoor at the Olive Tree Restaurant. The signature outlet is furnished with additional seating on the terrace, decorated especially for the Ramadan season. The restaurant offers both Iftar and Suhoor with Oriental and Hejazi menus and international cuisine available as an extensive buffet with a live cooking station.
