Hotel Association Of New York City Foundation (HANYC Foundation) Announces Return Of New York City And Broadway Hotels At Its Annual “Red Carpet Hospitality” Gala

The highly anticipated return of the New York and Broadway hospitality industry will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, 2022 as a crowd of hundreds gathers at the “Red Carpet Hospitality Gala”, an annual dinner hosted by the New York City Foundation Hotel Association (HANYC Foundation). The event will include a special Broadway performance, to be announced. The fundraiser will take place at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan. Proceeds from the gala will support the charitable goals of the HANYC Foundation.

The event will be co-chaired by Vijay Dandapani, President and CEO, Hotel Association of New York City; President of the HANYC Foundation Heather DavisArea General Manager, Aimbridge Hospitality, Hilton Fashion District and Hilton Garden Inn West 35and Street; and Fred GrapsteinPresident of the New York Hotel Association.

The HANYC Foundation will honor Laura FuentesExecutive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Hilton and Lauren Reidpresident of the John Gore Organization and president of the Broadway League.

The presentation by Ms. Fuentes and Ms. Reid will be Jonathan M. TischChairman and CEO, Loews Hotels.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. for the cocktail and the red carpet, at 7:00 p.m. for the dinner and the show. The dress is a party dress.

The event will comply with current CDC, New York State, and New York City guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the time of the event.
