(NASDAQ: HST), the nation’s largest real estate investment trust (the “Company”), has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for the third consecutive year, maintaining its position as a global leader in sustainable development. In addition, the Company has been included in the DJSI North America for the fifth consecutive year.
The DJSI World is made up of global sustainability business leaders across all industries and represents the top 10% of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on economic and environmental, social and long-term governance (ESG). The Company was one of only five US real estate companies to make this prestigious list.

- Establishment of first generation social goals, including two diversity goals and an employee engagement goal
- Launch of the company’s diversity and inclusion program and resource group for employed women and participation in the CEO’s Action for Diversity and Inclusion coalition
