ABU DHABI, 20th May, 2022 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the United Arab Emirates, is set to host the 8th annual elite Ped- GI from May 19-21, 2022, at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
The three-day hybrid conference will feature local and international expert speakers who will cover clinically important updates and comprehensive trends relevant to the practice of pediatric gastroenterology, nutrition and liver disorders.
In addition to serving as a platform for attendees to further their skills, enhance their existing knowledge and share best practices, the conference will serve as a networking platform within the pediatric gastroenterology community and facilitate establishing and strengthening clinical collaborations.
Speaking about the importance of the congress, Prof. Mohamad Miqdady, chair of the conference, head of pediatric gastroenterology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and clinical professor at Khalifa University Abu Dhabi, said: “Gastrointestinal disorders in children are extremely common and quite expansive. Recognizing, diagnosing, and managing these conditions is considerably difficult, especially since the precise articulation of symptoms is something that children often struggle with. »
