City of Glasgow College, UK partners with Scottish Institute of Hospitality Sciences to strengthen presence in India


NASHIK, India, August 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — City of Glasgow Middle School (CoGC) and the Scottish Institute of Hospitality Science (SIHS) are delighted to announce a new partnership in key courses that strengthens their presence in India.

This exciting new collaboration has chosen Nashik in the northern region of the Indian state of Maharashtra to locate the new professional institute which will provide courses to prepare students for an exciting global career in international culinary and hospitality management.

The SIHS campus will provide a unique, compact and caring environment, while upholding the commitment to the Scottish-style experience, and its initial phase will offer courses in hospitality, culinary and cabin crew operations.

In this new partnership, the course curriculum and assessments will be overseen by leading professionals from CoGC and a mixture of teachers from India and CoGC will provide modules in all programs. SIHS is looking to start the admissions process by the end of this month and start the first batch in September this year. If successful, students will be awarded an award by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, UK, or City of Glasgow College, UK.

2. National Qualification in Professional Cooking (developed by City of Glasgow College, UK, and awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, UK)

3. Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew Operations (awarded by City of Glasgow College, UK)
