Choice expands to Thailand, opening resort in Phuket with La Vie to attract returning tourists


Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has opened its very first property in Thailand, in collaboration with La Vie Hotels and Resorts.

The Quality Resort and Spa Patong Beach opened its doors on Sunday, March 27, after a complete renovation of rooms, facilities and public areas. The upscale resort now offers 88 rooms, 12 of which are poolside, surrounded by tropical gardens.

“Thailand and South East Asia are popular destinations for Australian holidaymakers and as international travel returns we are proud to be able to offer a Choice Hotels branded option in this market,” said Trent Fraser. , CEO of Choice Hotels Asia-Pacific.

Quality Resort and Spa Patong is La Vie Hotels and Resorts’ third property in Phuket, and the latest in a growing portfolio of La Vie hotels in Southeast Asia. The opening follows the recent expansion of the company’s regional headquarters in Bangkok.

La Vie Hotels & Resorts CEO Jerry Xu said the partnership with Choice means further growth in the region.
