A kidnapping and assault suspect in Ohio was arrested over the weekend after his failed attempt to escape through a hotel window when he bounced off reinforced glass as police were talking to him.
The Blue Ash Police Department said officers responded to the Quality Hotel Conference Center in Cincinnati Blue Ash when a front desk clerk requested a welfare check. She said she noticed a man and a woman together and the woman quietly asked for help.

Authorities said the man, identified as Onjre Damon George, 20, assaulted the woman on Sunday morning. Police Chief Scott Noel told reporters George and the victim knew each other and had a relationship at one point.
At one point, he reportedly refused to let her leave the Quality Hotel Conference Center Cincinnati Blue Ash where they were staying, Noel said.
When the agents responded to the hotel, they separated the couple and explained to George why they were there.
At one point, the officer grabs George by the arms and says “don’t stretch out man,” according to police body camera footage.
Moments later, George runs to the window of his hotel room on the sixth floor, but bounces off the glass when he tries to jump.
“Where are you going?” asks the officer.
“I’m about to jump. Don’t pile me up,” George is heard to say before he is handcuffed.
According to court documents obtained by Cincinnati.com, George suffocated the woman until she passed out.

He is charged with forcible rape, kidnapping for sexual activity and assault. He is being held at the Hamilton County Jail on $ 205,000 bond, according to jail records.
